Design Criteria:

This is a latching SPDT switch.  It

attaches externally the the stand-                  Common - Black

off type flag level gauge.  The                        N/O Blue

internal float is equipped with a                       N/C Brown

huge magnet.  As the float travels                   Grd. Yellow

past the switch (lifted by the

process inside the tank) the switch

will change states.  It will hold that

state until the float returns past the

switch. As the float goes past - the

switch will return to its original

state.
